custom alarm tones?

I want to choose what I want for a custom alarm tone instead of choosing a list of alarms that mostly go BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. I want to be able to make my alarm tone a song or something more relaxing than waking up to my phone making obnoxious noises. So how do I do this?

These are the steps I followed:

1. Create a sub-folder under MEDIA on my SD card called ringtones
2. Copied all of my mp3 ringtones to this folder (I snipped the mp3 clips with a separate app)
3. Press and hold the mp3 tone I want to use for my alarm until the pop-up menu reveals selection Use As Alarm
4. Set my alarm

Note: I updated my firmware build from B06 to B08 over the air earlier this morning.

Set up a folder (directory) on your sdcard called audio. In that folder (directory) put some more folders called ringtones, notifications, and alarms. Put your corresponding sound files in those folders and they will show up when selecting a tone.

I was just able to long press then select set as alarm tone. thanks though
