Root Custom Kernel on Stock OS

    I'm just wondering will I be able to flash a custom kernel while running the stock Android 4.4.4 KitKat on the Nexus 5?

    Absolutely :)

    You'll just need to make sure it's an AOSP based kernel and not one built for cyanogenmod

    I don't see why not like the post above make sure its asop based and not cm based ;)
