Looks like kexec actually might be getting us there even after all the naysayers.
this is some good news! good job on reporting it to us only a few more drivers to go
Btw these guys have a subforum, theyre asking for everyones help even the non devs!
Project Bootloader Freedom - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum
Yes, good news, but I am not going to hold my breath quite yet
O snap and that quick they got bluetooth up too
And in semi related news... Cyanogenmod7 on the x!
yeah i wonder what mostly is!
Holy crap!? Kexec breakthroughs and CM7!
I love our f#cking devs!
we arent there yet though jrz he only has a few drivers. once we can get the radios working im sure its going to be a breakthrough
Don't you go raining on my parade
its been an awesome day so far and this news just added to it =]
yea it is great news!
lets all hope that it gets better!
Gonna add to my twitter right now. Watching closely and I'm sure that the forum will light up as soon as all the drivers break through. So glad to be on a phone that devs care about.
well lets hope they can get it done, i think he is running into problems with his radio drivers for cdma, but lets hope they can pull through
if this gets finished could we see our battery performance beat an iphone?
lol since when doesnt it?
apex might be the closest thing to getting the same up time
Droid X beats iPhone 4 battery life except in web browsing. The iPhone 4 is just way better at battery life while web browsing than every Android phone out there for some reason.
And that's all I do... lol.
I'm so psyched for what's about to come for all of us
me too but why then do some say that they only charge there iphones twice a week, cm is as smooth as skiing on a lake as smooth as glass
I don't think I've been this excited in awhile. CM on the X would be a kick in the balls for Motorola.
can we just send motorola emails of our middle fingers instead?
One word as to why. Flash.
They have done a ton of test on laptops and everything and keeping flash uninstalled can increase battery life over 30%
I second this. I'd be really interested to read a bit about that...
