Custom Rom and need to activate phone?

Do I need to revert back to the stock ROM to go in and get my phone activated? I waited to activate till I had the phone as I wanted to it, to prevent no service time if there was issues. I have flashed CyanogenMod 7 and set it up.

Do it your self via *228 or on Metro's website. It'll even save you money.

I have to port my number. My wife also does not have her Pin...

They may give you trouble. Ive heard of people doing it with no problem and Ive heard of people going in and Metro saying "Sorry your rom is causing it to not let us do it" but then the person walks out and activated it by *228

Take it in on cm7 if they say they cant revert and take it back
