I have a Maxx and its running the official ICS update and i have it rooted. I just wanted to know if there was a way to install a custom rom with out bricking my phone.

From there, learn it, love it
After that, its a mater of paying attention to the requirements of the custom rom (what version ics ur on, what build, kernel, ect)
Some roms just require ics like the custom rom im building.
