Can you set different text tones for my contact like you can with ringtones?

Depends on your default SMS app. Which one are you using?

I use the Verizon Message+ that came on the phone. I can choose the tone for each of my text contacts separately. Also you could use Google Messaging or Textra; they both can do that as well.

Have you tried setting the notification sound through the contact app. That's where to do it on the v20. Highlight the contact you want a specific sound for then hit the edit pencil upper right and scroll down to notification sound and change it to what you prefer.

LG G6

The LG G6 dropped the modular design from the G5. It was one of the first with a 18:9 display. Specs include a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, dual cameras, and 3,300mAh battery.
