Root Cwm installation via terminal emulator?

    This possible? I remember seeing something on this in koumas thread , but nothing clear enough to really attempt myself. Any input is greatly appreciated.

    it's possible, but not recommended. if you don't flash it into the correct block, you can royally screw up your phone. make 100% sure you're flashing into the right block before doing anything. it's still recommended to just use Odin or heimdall though

    dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p15 this PARTITION only for ring/rush/reverb/prevail2 DO NOT FLASH ON DIFFERENT DEVICE YOU WILL BRICK

    no problem theres a button for that! :p make sure you try and wipe data and cache a few times cause our CWM has problems mounting them.

    I used Flashify & flashed Koumas Recovery Image & went into terminal emulator & did su reboot recovery & it booted into CWM it worked, the first time I did nothing, was happy iy worked! Than I hit reboot & it asked me something. The next time I eent into CWM I attempted to make a backup but maybe I didn't have enough room on my microsd? Either way I rebooted & I thought I bricked my ring so I put it down for like 5 minutes, had a beer came back & bang was all set! So it works! Just not sure if theres anything to flash that's why im here looking!
