I'm trying to register at the site in order to download 6.1 to my first attempt at a custom ROM, but I've registered twice now under two different user names and both times it blocks me out and tells me I have no permission to access the forums.

    Anybody have any tips?

Maybe you can find a download over at xda? I've never used cyanogen so forgive me if that's a stupid answer.

Or until you get a response that helps you get around this problem you could try a different ROM.

I'm not registered and it works just fine for me. Im not sure why its acting up with you. Did the direct links for the zip files work? There must be something else going on, because in order for developers to post in XDA, they can not have you register on a different website. XDA policy.
