D2G with GB not showing Facebook status updates in contacts

I've got an odd question. I update my D2G to the 2.3.3 version of Gingerbread and now my contacts aren't showing Facebook updates. I see updates if I go to the "Social Networking" app, but I used to see the latest status updates for each contact when I went to that contact in my address book. How do I get that back?
