Last night while using the browser on my phone via wifi, got the usual dropped connection after a few minutes.

Usually picks up the wifi signal again and away it goes, but last nite it got stuck turning the wifi off. The wifi icon in the power tab was grey indicating it was off, but in the system menu it was stuck saying "turning wifi off"

Gave up trying to reconnect and went to sleep. About an hour later the phone was beeping for low battery, so quickly found the charger lead and put on charge.

Then, about 4 hours after that, it woke me again, beeping to say battery was full and there was 5 unread messages. Went to pick it up and it was mightly hot. I talking extremly hot, not just around the battery, but the entire mobile.
I quickly unplugged the charger and switched the mobile off, left it to cool down by itself. About 1 hour/ 90mins later, picked it up again and it was still rather warm.

Turned it on when I got up from bed, and everything was working normally, apart from the unread 5 messages, which where old messages that i read the day before.

Im guessing that it got stuck in a loop trying to turn wifi off, so was using 100% cpu, which caused the battery to drain so fast, then when it was charging it was still using alot of the battery power.

    anyone else have this happen?

oh best thing to stop this when it happens is to turn fone off and take out battery for 5 mins as soon as u feel it getting hot coz it is usually due to sum script faut or loop as u experianced and doin this will reload the whole fone there for fixing problem or stoping the loop id suggest if this keeps happening to do this everytime b4 charging just to be sure u dont burn out the cpu chip whilst charging hope this helped.
