Help Dashboard Weather App Not Working on Viewsonic gtablet

I just purchased a refurbished Viewsonic gtablet. I have been mostly successful on startup except that I cannot get the preloaded weather app on the dashboard to accept any changes. When I load a new zip code or town, it tells me that this info cannot be found? Therfore I cannot add my address for weather info. Any weather app that I load works just fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nothing yet. Still hoping. I have loaded another weather app for now. I have also replaced the dashboard weather app with personal pictures.

Same here . Been like this for Months. SOmeone posted on another site to clear the cache but cant do that on mine. I switched to TheWeatherChannel App now.

With the recent automatic update to the Tap-n-Tap system, my installed weather app is now working perfectly. Apparently one of updates was to the weather app to provide international weather forecasts. When the system rebooted with the changes, my weather app started to work as designed. If you did not get the update automatically, go to the Viewsonic gtablet website and download the most recent (January, 2012) update. All is now good with my unit.
