Help Data access (3G) doesn't turn on anymore after update

Ever since I updated to 2.3.5, every time I turn "data enabled" on nothing happens.

Wifi works fine and I can phone people, just the Data access doesn't work.

any help?

also I tried my friends sim card in it too and it didn't work either so I dunno...

Hi dextertothe, Have you tried > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Data enabled > Network Operators > (this may take quite a time to search 30 seconds or more.) Mine then displays
2degrees 3G
2degrees 2G
vodafone NZ 3G
vodafone NZ 2G.
At this point you can select your SIM providers network you wish to use.

I have Gingerbread 2.3.5 and have not experienced any problems so far. Neil.
