Data Connection

I have a Milestone X2. Trying to send a MMS message.
Pop up window reads: No data connection. Mms messages cannot be sent or received ed until data connections restored. Please check your MMS APN configuration in mobile network settings.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. First obvious question, do you have an active carrier data connection and not wifi connected?
