I seem to remember when I first got my phone and I plugged it into the computer and selected the option for data transfer it would mount both the 8Gb internal memory and my SD card. Now when I connect the phone I only get the SD card. The internal memory is still there and used by my applications I just can't see it via Windows explorer.

I have rooted my phone, does this cause the mentioned side affect?

    Thanks,
    Jon

It wouldn't mount the internal memory in the phone (although you can see the internal memory with MyPhoneExplorer iirc), are you sure it wasn't the card you were seeing?

There's only 1.5GB internal memory in the phone anyway. :p
