To start off my lovely Samsung Epic 4G has been acting funny since they started pushing EC05(if that's what it is called. I, several times before re-rooting after a fresh factory reset, tried to do the EC05 update to no avail. Just simply froze about a quarter of the way through the process and gave me the android guy with an exclamation. So I gave up and rooted anyways. Then about three weeks ago the damn thing semi-bricked for no reason. Luckily I always root so I used clockwork to recovery. But during all this my GPS went wacky, always cutting in and out. Then this evening it would not take a charge. I figured it was too hot since it had been on the windshield phone mount with the sun beating on it. So after cooling off I attempted charging again on the way home. The red charge light blinks, the battery icon keeps turning red, and no charge accepted. I figured, just change batteries as the battery may have gone bad. Now the phone will not power on at all. In a last attempt, I hooked up the wall charger, but the charging icon just keeps flashing.

Anyone have any ideas? Or should I just take it to my local corporate sprint store so they can swap it out for me?

Can you boot into CWM recovery or download mode (phone off.... press and hold 1+power)?
