Not as smart as I wish I was! I just attempted to go from gingerbread to Newts ICS with sense 4.0. I was able to flash the rom and it seemed ok at first but now I'm in a deadly bootloop. Just keeps rebooting even if you power it off it reboots. What did I miss in the directions?

Thanks for any help you can give.

1)you prolly flashed the from from a permanent recovery,so the kernel did not install.
2)you possibly did not install the old firmware patch, immediately flashing the rom.

assuming you are still s-on,read this: http://androidforums.com/rezound-all-things-root/587430-s-want-flash-roms-read.html

follow the directions to launch your recovery from fastboot and reflash the rom. immediately after, flash the old firmware patch(linked in that post)

that should fix you up :)
