    Good Morning.

Just got myself the lovely Nexus S yesterday, upgrading from an HTC Hero. Just wondered if anyone new any good clock widget apps? (similar to the one that was originally on the Hero) I have had a look around at some of those available, and all of the ones I have found look a bit....erm cheap.

Also, can anyone give me some advice on good apps for controlling your PC locally, I can remember reading about a good free one on these boards, but can't seem to find the post now.

    Thanks, Fenn

I use Beautiful Widgets for my clock (I too started with an HTC Hero and missed the fancy weather/clock widget when I switched to Vanilla ROMs). It's not free, but I feel it's worth the couple bucks it costs. I use the default skin, but there are plenty out there to choose from.

As for remote desktop, there are two free ones that I use. First is PocketCloud, which is super simple to setup and use, but only allows one saved connection at a time. The other is Remote RDP Lite, which takes a bit more familiarity with RDP to setup but lets you save multiple connections.

Thank you very much. Have got both of those apps now and they are exactly what I was looking for!
