What Mhz does deep sleep run at, or is it sub 100Mhz?
I'm guessing it's sub 100Mhz
Don't know if this answers your question old fruit...
xda-developers - View Single Post - [KERNEL] SiyahKernel v2.6.7 - "One kernel to rule them all" (SAMMY&AOSP ROMs)
So we don't need to do anything special to force deep sleep. Its just part of the CPU logic?
Correct. It's entered naturally.
If it does not then investigation is required. Ie something is keeping your processor awake when it probably shouldn't be.
This thread is old but I been using fauxclock intelliplug and I have set the screen off max freq to the lowest it can be and my phone goes into deep sleep every time I turn the screen off (lock) this saves battery but I wonder on what freq deep sleep runs.
