Help Defaults back to Android keyboard every restart

This is annoying. Every time I restart the phone, it won't remember my default keyboard (Swiftkey) and half the time forgets my default texting app (Chomp). At least with Chomp, it pulls back up the box to set the default again, but with the keyboard, it just resets it and I have to go into settings to do this.

What ROM are you using? I was having the same problem with UD 2.4 but since I switched to CM7 nightlies I have not had any problems

I am rooted, but still using the stock Android.

this is not ROM related. this is just one of the s***** bad system bugs. It annoys the hell out of me to have to reselect my preferred keyboard every launch.

agreed.. think I would remember - better yet, you would think the phone would remember.
