When connected to my wifi at home my notifications are delayed (excluding texts), sometimes up to 30 mins. I really only use the Google talk and Gmail apps. I have a stock captivate running 2.2.

I have my Wifi sleep policy set to "never". This really only happens when my screen is turned off. I've also noticed that when I turn my screen back on, the google talk app has disconnected from the server and I have to wait for it to re-connect. Then boom, I get my IMs. Why is it doing this? My laptop gets these notifications just fine. And yes, this still happens even when my laptop is off.

Could this be a router/wifi thing and not my phone?

I've not tried this on any other wifi connection, so I can't compare.

Thanks in advance for your help
