Sorry if this has been asked for the Droid already, but couldn't find it in a search (found for Eris, but not Droid).
Anyway, how do I delete unneeded Bluetooth devices?

If your BT is on and it is seeing the devices, no way to delete them

if you're talking about how to delete old devices that it can no longer see, long press and select unpair, then scan for devices and it should go away permanently unless that particular device comes back in range.
