I got the Eris the other day, and this morning I cleaned out my contacts. Now I have a notification that wont go away, it says "SYNC - too many contacts deletes. then when you click on it, it says "there are 74 deleted items for contacts, account ******@gmail.com. What would you like to do? And it gives me 3 options, Delete the items, Undo the deletes, Do nothing for now.

I've tried all three options and the notification just comes right back, any ideas?

I had that issue when I setup my eris for the first time. I had alot of 'junk' contacts that the google sync was finding and I was trying to delete them through my eris. I ended up just going to gmail/google on my desktop and deleting them that way THEN syncing....worked fine.

Same thing here. After selecting delete items a number of times, I rebooted and the notification disappeared. Don't know if that will work for you.
