Deleted gmsnet2.jpg.jpg

HELLO ! I think i did a bad thing and i need your help . Accidentally i have erased the gmsnet2.jpg.jpg from Android/data/com.google.android.gms/files. This happened 3 days ago. I have restarted the phone but it not reappeared. I did something bad ? Shall i download t from the internet and put it back? What was this file for and what are the risks for not having it.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP !!!

I know but i read this:
sd_card_test
Attempts to understand if the SD card has been tampered with. This creates a JPEG file named gmsnet2.jpg on the SD card, fills it with some hard-coded content. IT then analyses if the length of the file matches a hard-coded value and verifies if the written bytes match what was sent, byte by byte. I am not sure I understand why this check exists and under what security-related conditions it would fail.

and i think google was using somehow that image for some security stuff

Is your device rooted? If you managed to erase this without needing root permissions it's an utterly lousy test of tampering. And if you can just use the file from any other device then it would also be the simplest thing to subvert unless it is generated when the test is performed. And if it is then you just need to find something which will actually perform this test.

Do you have any apps that use safetynet (banking, payment apps, some media apps) and have any of them stopped working? Just wondering whether it's actually causing any problems.

My device is not rooted and i was able to delete it it without problems. After delete i used security stuff, paid my bill, scan barcode, bank transfer, brought Something from play store but the file still not reappear.
Thank you for your interest.
What shall i do?

The folder from which you deleted the jpeg is an apks internal asset folder. Files within the files' folder are generated upon user interaction with the app. If I remember correctly you should be able to wipe the apps data in your phones settings then open the app and some interaction with it will regenerate the jpeg.

Yes, but wich app's data to wipe and what app to open because i to not know what app exactcly is working with that jpg

That's Google Play Services which is used by google apps. So it would be hard to pin-point. If you're not experiencing any issues, I wouldn't worry about it. It'll probably regenerate the image when you least expect it.
