Deleted video keeps reappearing in my gallery

I have a video that i deleted from my gallery and from google photos. It keeps coming back to my 'camera' folder. Finally I moved it to another folder and locked it. But it still keeps coming back to my camera folder every few days. I delete it. I empty the trash. And here it comes again. HELP please!

Is it a video you took yourself? or is it one you downloaded?

I took it myself. It actually hasn't reappeared yet but I'm sure it will by tomorrow.

Did you enable any other sync' options other than Google? I didn't pay that much attention when I setup my G6, but does LG offer backup/sync services? It sounds like the file is being sync'ed back to your phone from a cloud account that thinks it's supposed to be there.

I agree and I've gone through all my settings. It doesn't look like I have other sync options set up. I'm going to have to take a closer look I guess. But from all appearances, nothing is syncing besides Google photos.

I was hoping this was common and would be an easy fix. Not that it's earth shattering or anything, just annoying.

I have taken a few videos and when I delete them from the phone they are deleted everywhere. I only sync with Google/Photos.

Could it be on the SIM card by some chance? Did you send it by text message?

Well I finally got rid of it, using my computer. It appears that my sd card was messed up somehow, so I transferred everything off and put a new sd card in. Yay, no more video!
