General Deleting apps from all programs menu

    I just bought an Eris and wanna get ride of some of the stock apps and junk from view in the all programs menu, ive searched but maybe im not using the right search words

    Advanced Task Killer lets you disable them, so they dont use up much battery life. Some cannot be uninstall I believe. I know it annoys me too since some of them I dont want to use at all.

    maybe im ******ed but whats the point of root to an average to moderate user?

    To do exactly what you would like to do: Clean up the bloatware. If you decide to do it I think you would be very happy. There are sooo many quality ROMs to choose from. G'luck.
