Can anybody please tell me how do you delete an internet web browser bookmark once it is added?

    Thanks in advance,

    Thanks for the reply.

Let me add to it. I'm on a Droid X. It offers Bookmarks in "Gallery View" and in "List View." There seems to be no provision to delete a bookmark when in "Gallery View." However, when in "List View" the recommended action works fine.

    Again, thanks.

I've tried that "long press" but doesn't seem to work for me, will try & try some more

I've been tying all that's suggested press and hold for a few seconds and it doesn't do anything and when I go into menu on bookmark page delete isn't a option and its driving me nuts!

If you are using Dolphin Browser it's:
Menu / More / Settings / Bookmarks / Bookmarks Bar
Long press the entry and scroll down and select delete.
