How do I delete the preinstalled facebook app from my android phone?

Generally, if an app is pre-installed, you can't remove it without rooting your phone. Rooting voids your warranty and is quite an involved process... if you want to go down that route, I'd sign up, find your phone from the list here - Android Phones - Android Forums - and head to the All Things Root section for your device, where you should get tips, tricks, hints and advice from other members with the same phone
