deleting photos - no "dustbin" icon in Gallery

I want to delete all the photographs in "gallery" but the dustbin icon does not appear anywhere on the screen

How can I delete without the icon - or how do I get the icon and the facility to appear?

Hi

Open gallery

Long press any album
Press the " one selected" button at the top and select all to select all albums

Press the delete button
