Help Deleting Quick Settings

How do you uninstall Quick Settings?

I am taking a wild guess here, but you would probably have to root your phone to accomplish that.

Why would you want to uninstall it?
Are you rooted?

I would love to get rid of that too, as well as the recent apps at the top of the notification tray.

I am rooted. I have uninstalled a whole bunch of crap like the Sense UI and VZW crapware, but there are still some minor things that bug me.

Why you ask... Why not?!

Newt's ROMs don't have recent apps in notifications and Andybonestock has a mod to remove them.
