Help Deleting words after update??

So i was wondering if it was possible to delete words that the phone has saved. And i dont mean the words in my dictionary but just wods the phone saves by itself.

Before the update all i had to do was hold it down and press delete but it doesnt seem to work after the update. Anyone know if its possible?

I have quite large thumbs and constantly get misspelled words whilst texting that i wish i could get rid of. Any help would be appreciated.
