I think it will brick, but there's a possibility it won't. There could be a way around the brick as well if it does brick.

It would definitely soft brick if anything.

It would most likely boot loop. Software changes at the rom level arent the type of thing that usually causes a true brick.

Have a nandroid ready if you decide to try it.

Well I've decided not to do it. I'd love to be able to theme the heck outta this lil beast of a phone tho

waiit!!!!! lol i have a better idea, do me a favor and boot to CWM, wipe data (so i dont get any of your personal information on accident), then make a backup, once you have the backup send it my way, ill de-odex and root the kernel for ya so you can test for a stock/root rom sound good? lol
