    seems like there's a huge gap between the glass where you touch and the display.....is this the same with everyone?

    Also there is a small separation between the dark bit where the buttons are to the light bit which extends around the dispaly to the top?

    There has to be a gap between the digitiser and the screen.

    I don't think it should be large enough to noticeable? Or is it... mmmm

    The thing is you don't touch the screen. If you touch it you could easily break it. Its the digitiser that is the touch part. If it were closer, its possible you could touch it too hard and also touch (and destroy) the AMOLED screen underneath.

    The gap is relative to the amount of give in the digitiser.
