Im having a problem with some of my contacts being missing in the sms app.
I have been told that it is because some of my numbers are not saved as a mobile number in my contacts, instead a work or home number and the app filters only numbers set as mobile. So i am asking is there a way in gmail or my phone i can filter my numbers by type so i can see what number need changing with goin through every singe contact?

I can only suggest logging onto your g mail on your computer, then open your contacts on your message app in your phone and compare

if you export to csv from gmail, would it not show a row for each contact and a column for each number type?

Try myphoneexplorer( just download onto your pc,then go to the app market and do the same on your phone) you could export all your numbers to it then import them onto your phone wirelessy,no need for cables anymore....
