Help Desire HD Display on randomly

I guess this is of the major issue after upgrade to 2.3.3. The problems I'm facing right now is : Display of phone turn on randomly even though we have close the display. Sometime, it went rampage where the screen is on at the stage where it's waiting for us to slide down the unlock button. For me for apply live wallpaper, display eat up my battery for more than 70% battery, in this case, less than half day my battery was gone. So I wonder everyone who suffer battery drain problem are due to this bug. May I know the cause of this problem ??? Is it the problem of Android 2.3.3 ??

Some apps didn't play nicely with the GB update, causing battery drain issues like the one you appear to be having. Green Power was one, do you have that installed? That def sounds like an errant app causing the screen to stay awake.
