Desire home screens add more?

Hi new to the forum... just got my desire 2 days ago and LOVING IT (glad i didn't go for the iphone)

BUT

I looked around and I couldn't find it, but i apologize if its been asked before but can you ADD more home screens not having just the standard 7 ones?

What could you possibly need more than 7 for? But I don't think there's a way on Sense no. And I haven't seen more than 7 on a Launcher either.

I cant think of anything..

If you need more space then why not set up a couple of custom scenes and switch between them as you need?

or get an app like 'folder organiser' to better organise your icons, shortcuts etc
and 'widgetlocker' to add things to your lockscreen, effectively giving you 8 homescreens.
