I got my HTC Desire S a couple of months ago I think around late March or Early April.

Anyway I just wanna ask you guys about the image quality of the camera. It is preset to 5mp (2592x1552) but the photos are quite grainy (when zoomed in) compared to my old phone (Samsung Omnia 2) Both camera are 5mp.

I dunno if I need to adjust/tweak the settings or not... or HTC camera just really suck?

It's the Desire S; the camera is adequate. Reducing 'Sharpness' in the camera's 'Image adjustments' to -1 or -2 may improve the image for you; it's supposed to reduce the effect of the noise reduction/sharpness algorithms. Using manual focus instead of auto focus may also make a difference.

Not surprising the Samsung would be better as they, unlike HTC, also make cameras.
