Well, having never used an iPhone i decided to bite the bullet. I bought a second hand one that had been jailbroken and unlocked blah blah blah... And, well. What a piece of crap. Why do apple insist on making things 'abnormal' no on/off button, you have to hold a button for 6 seconds, then one for 10, then do this, then do that. WTF? the screen feeled nice though when navigating, and it did actually seem to be really smooth, but when you got in a bit deeper (oooo-er missus) nothing was simple. Because there are no 'buttons' everything is either all or nothing. Really awkward compared to using a desire. I suppose when you have used it for a few days then you find a few shortcuts and bits and bobs, but it's not for me... I'm keeping my Desire for now!

Good for you , the iphone 3 is no comparison to the Desire. I even the Apple fanboys only try to front the iphone 4 when they want to make comparisons.
