Anyone excited that they finally got the RIL working? Who's jumping the gun and switch over when they release X3? I love cyanogen so far but i probably go and test it out and see what's people been waiting for.

I will only if the RIL is included with the rom. Otherwise, I'll just wait until the RIL update comes out, then install them both together...

A little too early for me... Gonna let them get most of the bugs out and see how it runs on other folks phones before I put it on my Droid.

    BTW what is an RIL?

I know you guys already searched it out, but for anyone else wondering, it is basically what makes the "Phone" portion of the phone work...

hm.. now with the incredible dump, didn't they kind of 'waste' their time? sorry to sound harsh on the devs who worked extremely hard.

well no not entirley they can use parts of the incredible dump AND the desire. thatll be sick. i flash this fo sho when it comes out if i dont have to partition cuz i am shit at adb. hopfully they will have that fixed. this will definantly be a big hit when the official release comes.

Same here, but I think we will still have to partition. I saw it mentioned in one of the threads that HTC built it that way (to utilize partitions) and that it can not be changed...Not sure though. TBH, it's the reason I never played around with X1 or X2. But as long as the RIL is confirmed working, I'm going for it..

You can use ROM Manager to partition if you really wanna do it but are worried about messing up

Yep, but there are scripts that shouldn't be too hard to use (I mention that not for you radikal, I know you know...It's for the others)..

It lets you pick 3 slots of space... none of them are big enough plus it costs 4 bucks to format an sd for that :) so if ya don't have rom manager, blah. They should package it and make it work I think
