I spoke with a customer service rep from VZ and she said that the dock for the Moto droid will not work for the Incredible. This sucks because i love the desktop dock for the droid. I wish they would release one for the incredible already. Hopefully it will be better than the droids.

I had 3 Moto Droid Docks and they definitely wont work. They HTC one should be ready soon but why does it need to be better than the Moto docks? My Moto docks are easily the nicest I have ever used and I've had a crapload of docks.

Idk how it could be any better that's my point. I hope it is as good or better. I really like the functionality of the dock and how the droid had the nighstand mode. The incredible has a mode like this correct?

Yes, it has a desk clock app and you can tap the little moon and stars to activate night mode.

Looked into that Mikradle thing and it looks nice but I have no problem setting my phone flat on its back. The main convenience I want out of a dock is, well, easy docking meaning the dock makes it easier to connect the charger. The Mikradle looks good but it doesn't make docking the phone any better because you still have to plug the same usb cable into the phone. It seems like more of a desktop phone stand than a dock.

Yes, you're right it is. That's what I was looking for, a night stand. I was worried about a docking cradle and having to "fit" the micro plug in. The connector just seems so fragile.

If you buy Seidio's innocase for your phone, I know for a fact that their desktop chargers WILL WORK with their innocase on your phone. Hope this helps, buddy!

Looks like the "Mikradle" will cost as much as the real dock. lame. If it was cheaper i'de go for it. Just get a card holder from staples (2.50)

You can pretty much say the same thing about anything, i.e. a car, a bicycle, a bottle of wine, etc. I don't know that I would think the cost of a Cervelo as "lame" simply because the person wanted a bike with better features or nicer looking than a Schwinn. The Mikradle looks very nice, is made by some dude in his garage vs. sending money to China for a piece of crap plastic, and might even look good on a nightstand rather than a cheap card holder. So it's really all a matter of preference.

And yes, the card holder is cheap. It also looks like the $30 cradle, but its all metal.
It's all just a preference. You can buy what you want.
