    Welcome to AF :D

You may be able to have the phone flashed to another carrier. The phone uses CDMA networks so your options would be Virgin mobile and Cricket for prepaid plans (there could be more that I can't think of right now). I don't have experience flashing phones to other networks, but I have been told there are some stores you can go to and have the phone flashed over. You may have issues activating the phone without a data option. Perhaps someone more experienced in flashing phones will be able to provide more info for you.
