Desperately need help and fast. :(

Here's the story: I bought my dad a cheap tablet for Xmas. He's already opened it during out early exchange, and I was too stupid to realize it only has 1GB of space or less, and the "internal SD" has a mere 1.30GB.

I bought it so he could play his game, Real Racing 3. But it uses 1.60+ GB. So, I placed an SD card of my own with 2GB of free space, but can't for the life of me get it to move to the SD card, install to it, or update to it. The tablet recognizes my SD card in it, but won't let me move the app to it so that it can download the remaining extra files it requires.

So, then I decided to put the .apk file on the SD card from my computer, but can't manage to find it when using the SD card on the tablet, so again, no luck.

I feel absolutely depressed that I've messed up his present. Please help me figure this out. Please.

On android version 4.0 and above, you cant run apps from external SD.
You might wana search for a guide to rooting the tab and making it think that the external storage is the internal.

It's an ematic Genesis.

I have no idea how to root it.

I have never heard of that tablet and since it's a cheap offbrand tablet we probably can't help you root it either.

Yeah there probably is no way to root it since it isnt a popular device. Some of them come pre-rooted though. You could try the app "root checker" to find out. If not then im sorry man :beer:
