Apps Device ID

Hi Good day to all,
I am new to android app development. Is there a way to obtain device ID such as IMEI or software ID to use as a form of authentication.

Hello and Welcome Chosen807!
Whilst I know nothing about app development, as far as IMEI, those should really be kept to the owner and not posted.
Perhaps I am just ignorant of app development, and maybe you are just looking for your own IMEI
