I've been searching for a dialpad that I can place on a screen of it's own. I don't mind the stock dialpad that came with my Moto Droid, but would like to have a page where I can just start tapping away (like the homepage).

Any suggestions? Maybe it would be a widget, I think... dunno. Anything?

Dialer one is far the best, It can also use your current wallpaper as a theme and has nice animations for exiting it. Use better cut to change the icon and make it look just like phone and ur done. :D

i think Eusibius2 and i are looking for a dialer widget. A dialer always on a screen. Dialer One is good but on the Eris i am unable to make it my default dialer since 2.1 update. If i hit the hard phone button it still goes to stock dialer. Very disappointing!

Kinda ugly for $2.00 and its still not a dialer or number pad. You could make contact shortcut links on a page instead of buying that app. Thanks for the input though.

Have you tried it? It is very configuarable and if you have contacts with multiple numbers does not bother you with which phone you want to call etc. You can also set it up for short and long presses.
