1. Are you ready for the Galaxy S20? Here is everything we know so far!

Did anyone NOT have a full battery before updating to 2.1?

My fiance's Moment has always had battery issues, right now its sitting at "90%" it always takes long to fully download. I just wanted to know if anyone here performed the upgrade without FULLY charging their battery, and what were the results?

I was at 20% lol... no problem. I think that is just a cover statment so that just in case the power dies you don't somehow brick your phone mid-flash.

Correct... I was at about 60%. The bottom line is just don't try to flash a phone with a near-dead battery, duh.

Yea I was able to flash to 2.1 on my fiances phone no problem, a lot of nice little tweak nothing major, maybe because I'm running a custom 2.1 Rom on my Hero already.

After reading some of the stuff people do and complain about on this forum, it's no wonder they didn't have a 5000 word disclaimer stating everything from don't upgrade in the bathtub to there is no need to pull your pants down to flash the phone. :p

I did two phones on less than full charges...both went perfectly.
