Might be a daft question or solution, but my Mrs yesterday got a Galaxy S6 Edge on EE, and chose this over the + because the shop assisstant said they were technically the same other than battery size and screen.

The main selling point for her is the camera, and she is a huge Iphone fan but got the Galaxy because of its better camera.

Having used the camera on the + in the shop, she particularly liked the selfie mode on front facing with all the features such as Beauty, slimming and all that sort of stuff.

Her regular Edge she chose "only" has the Beauty feature and none of the rest. Does this come with the update to Lollipop 5.1 or is it not available at all on the regular edge?

The S6 edge + has a bigger screen with the same amount of pixels so lower PPI, shouldn't be noticable really.
The S6 edge + has an extra 1G of RAM, cant' see it making that much difference my S6 edge has never, ever lagged, stuttered or been anything other than buttery smooth (and yes I have used a Nexus 6P for a week - my Nexus loving friend and I swap devices for a week to compare. It is ever so slightly, and I'm talking a miniscule amount, quicker, but no smoother. )
The S6 edge + has a bigger capacity battery - an extra 400mAh. Even with the 0.6" bigger screen that might add an extra 3/4of an hour use time.

So there you have it with the specs. 5.1.1 does not include anything else other than "Beauty" on the front camera as an option, however Marshmallow (Now at V6.0.1 beta for the S6 and S6 edge) is meant (I was ill over Christmas and missed the damn beta testing !!!) to add many, many new camera features as well as other things.

    So there you have it.

Incidentally Lollipop V 5.1.1 is available for all SM-G920F (The S6) and SM-G925F (S6 edge) "unbranded" firmwares and here in the UK it is also available for the Vodafone "branded" versions of the two devices. I'm not sure about EE, 3 or O2 variants.
