Different notification sound for e-mail, Gmail, Messages?

Is there a way to change the notification sound to be different for e-mail, Gmail, and Android Messages on Lollipop? In the settings I only see one default notification choice (default). TIA.

There should be an option in the individual app settings to change the notification tone

Read your post again and did you already look there? Soz if you have, then sorry don't know
