Diffrence between GT540 and GT540GO?

My phone was always recognised as GT540 but since last week my phone is now branded as GT540GO... I guess im correct in thinking the GT540 GO is the brand for o2 PAUG phone?

I'm just getting fed up and sick n tired of waiting for 2.1 :S
