It's listed in all the specs I've seen on multiple sites, including on the official home page for the Legend: HTC - Products - HTC Legend - Specification

But for the life of me, I can't find it on my phone. It's definitely not listed under Programs. Does anyone have a clue? Where could it have gone if it's a default, built-in feature? Pardon my ignorance but this is the first smartphone that I've used and I was keen on using this feature to impress friends... :) Any help, directions or insight would be appreciated.

Don't you just get a compass app from market that uses this feature ?

Thanks mate, didn't know that I was supposed to download the app from the market. Thought that because it was listed in the default specs everywhere it would be already on the phone. I'll try downloading it.

Its very simple, compass feature that they mentioned is in "Maps"

when you click maps, click on Find me or whatever it says, then u'll see a Compass icon, click on it and good to go...
