Hi, I tried to find the answer, but couldn't locate it. I am looking for a way to keep my screen from blacking out and going to the lock screen when using the directions in google maps. I am sure I missed a setting somewhere. Is the only way to achieve this is to go to settings and click the never time out option? Thanks for the help.

You can change the display setting to never timeout, that's what I do

But that's to never timeout, no matter what app is being displayed, right? I'm not sure I want to do that...

It's not like you can't change it back lol

It would be nice if it automatically did it, but I haven't gotten to the point of laziness that I can't do it myself

What I've done is set my phone so that it never goes to sleep when plugged in (Menu > settings > applications > development). Then when navigating I always plug it in - which seems like a good idea anyway.
