hey,I'm just wondering if there is any way to disable those "Ads by Google" that shows while using some applications. For example while using an app,and then some ads starts loading.
It actually makes the app run slower and it downloads data, when I don't want to.

Is there any way to disable to "Ads by Google" ?

    thanks.

AdFree is a free app that you can use for that if you have rooted your phone.

Just tried it out. The app does what it says, and it actually solves the problem.
    thanks.
...but is there no option in settings to disable ads?

Why would I tell you to use AdFree if there was an option in Android?

I think you might of got your english words mixed up.

R-droid It works just fine, when you install it lets you choose where to direct your host file. There is no need to disable them as it is automatic.

Haha, if you ad the word 'itself' at the end of the sentence and have 'Why would I tell you to use AdFree if there was an option in Android itself?'

Did you not think I was referring to Android internal settings and not the whole platform including 3rd party apps?

Well when you disable those you just encourage developers to make their apps non-free, since they want to get something from their work
